Hi‑Fi or amplified? Choose your audio track

The same concert can sound different depending on what you're listening to it on. That's why, for select concerts, we offer a choice of audio tracks in the player.

How does it work? Simply switch the audio track in the player. For example, choose the Hi-Fi version, which sounds best on headphones or high-quality audio equipment, or the amplified version when you want to turn the volume all the way up.

Try it out with Mahler. A great example is Mahler's Symphony No. 9–massive, delicate, and powerful all at once. Switch between the tracks and listen to the difference.

We wanted to test this out a bit, so we added a Polish dub to the Philharmonic Academy recording.
