Jozef Piaček (born 21 May 1946 in Bratislava) is a Slovak philosopher and university teacher.

He graduated in philosophy from the Faculty of Arts of Comenius University in Bratislava (1970) and taught the history of philosophy there until 2012, specialising in twentieth-century movements; in 1986 he founded the Integration Standing Seminar at the faculty. He also lectured at Trnava University, at Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra and at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava.

His research started from phenomenology and led to a philosophical position of his own, which he named syncriticism and set out in the book Synkriticizmus – filozofia konkordancie (2002).
