Prof. Leoš Svárovský studied flute and conducting at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague under the renowned prof. Václav Neumann. He began his career at the National Theatre in Prague as an assistant to Zdeněk Košler. In 1991 he was invited by the Herbert von Karajan Foundation to collaborate with George Solti, Claudio Abbado and the Vienna Philharmonic on the Sommer FestSpiele Salzburg.
