Mucha Quartet

Another festival concert which thanks to the artistic activity of the Mucha Quartet ensemble revives almost forgotten compositional heritage of the authors preceding the appearance of the Slovak modern music generation. Works by Mikuláš Moyzes and Frico Kafenda are supplemented with a sample from the rich quartet creation of Ilja Zeljenka, which will sound as a remembrance on the occasion of the composer's 90th birth anniversary.

všechny Rubikony světa překročíš jak vítěz
však v řece přátelství utoneš
přestaň se bránit Caesare
mohl bys poranit Bruta

V

nesvěruj mocným tajemství rozhovorů
obcuj sám s géniem
nedávej neznalým do rukou vynálezy
jméno lidstva je Ikarus
