Concert selection – Gershwin: An American in Paris

George Gershwin has made his mark on history with his original fusion of classical music with jazz. The symphonic picture of An American in Paris is the genius musician's response to his stay in the metropolis on the Seine, where he received huge compliments from both Ravel and Nadja Boulanger.
