Hommage à Bohdan Warchal (Stravinsky)

Dear friends, we offer you this footage until the end of the season in high definition (Full HD), you can best enjoy it in full screen by clicking on the icon in the bottom right corner in the video player, or by double-clicking in the middle of the video.

The humorous tone of this neoclassical concerto from the pen of the great Russian music composer Igor Stravinsky does not lag behind the larger works of his composer in its sophisticated instrumentation and inventiveness. In this work, Stravinsky was largely inspired by the Brandenburg Concertos of the Baroque genius J. S. Bach.

Israeli violinist and conductor Shlomo Mintz has had a career as a world-renowned violinist, not missing out on prestigious international competitions and regularly passing on his experience in masterclasses.
