Music Academy I
The Music Academy and Family Concerts in Reduta have been popular with us for several years. At the first Music Academy in the 74th concert season, the young visitors were guided through the world of music by the moderator Martin Vanek. The programme featured works by two English composers – Benjamin Britten's The Young Man's Guide to the Orchestra and Henry Purcell's Abdelazer Suite, performed by the Bratislava Conservatoire under the baton of Juraj Jartim. The young artists performed in a chamber string orchestra and a large symphony orchestra, in which the pupils were reinforced by professionals from the Military Music of the Armed Forces of the Slovak Republic. We enjoyed a great turnout and look forward to seeing you next time!
