Movie Melodies

From the early 20th century onward, the global music industry was swept up in a feverish search for modern technologies and artistic approaches. A development of fundamental importance was the collaboration between famous film producers and directors and musical composers. The legendary Hollywood, with its “sweet” style, became the cradle of film music; however, creators on the Old Continent were not far behind. Impressive soundtracks became a cult phenomenon and a new entry in the catalog of musical genres.

The concert was held in collaboration with the European Film Philharmonic Institute.
