Liszt / Brahms

Orfeus je v poradí štvrtou z 13 symfonických básní Franza Liszta, ktoré slávny neskororomantický autor napísal počas svojho dlhoročného pobytu vo Weimare. V druhej časti koncertu uvedie Slovenská filharmónia Brahmsovu Symfóniu č. 4 e mol, ktorou symfonická tvorba slávneho skladateľa vrcholí. Je to spev o tom, že cesta k súčasnému i budúcemu človeku vedie cez hlboký príklon k tradícii a viera v lásku a dobro je najvyššou humanistickou maximou.
