Homage à Bohdan Warchal

Bohdan Warchal bol iniciátorom vzniku viacerých diel slovenských autorov. V prípade Ilju Zeljenku došlo k splynutiu dvoch duší, schopných vnímať a tvoriť hudbu so zmyslom pre zodpovednosť, ale aj pre hravosť. Francúzsky skladateľ Emmanuel Séjourné je aktívnym hráčom na perkusívnych nástrojoch. Vďaka nemu stále vznikajú diela pre tento typ inštrumentov. Koncert pre marimbu a sláčiky je veľmi populárny a často hrávaný. Antonín Dvořák bol počas pobytu v Spojených štátoch amerických očarený tamojšou etnickou hudbou. Prenikla aj do slávneho Amerického kvarteta.
