Organ recital IV – Thierry Escaich

Vďaka skvelému staviteľovi organov Aristidovi Cavaillé-Collovi nastal v priebehu 19. storočia vo Francúzsku čulý ruch vo sfére tvorby pre kráľovský nástroj. Collove nástroje výrazne podporujú sonorizmus, ktorý je pre Francúzov typický. Poprednými skladateľmi boli César Franck a Louis Vierne. Franck lavíroval medzi francúzskym zvukovým šarmom a postbachovskou nemeckou tradíciou. Vierne konal ako elegantný maliar a jeho Symfónie sú ojedinelými ukážkami prepojenia tradičného symfonizmu a novej tradície organovej hudby. Každý hráč na organe sa hrdí aj schopnosťou improvizovať; potvrdí to aj Thierry Escaich.
