Composers (arrangers): Alexander Albrecht (1885–1958), Modest Petrovich Mussorgsky (1839–1881), Maurice Ravel [arr.] (1875–1937), Alexander Scriabin (1872–1915)

Alexander Albrecht bol dlhé roky v nežičlivom zabudnutí. Len v poslednom čase sa záujem o jeho diela zintenzívnil. Symfonická báseň Túžby a spomienky je dôkazom, že tento záujem o revitalizáciu Albrechtovej tvorby je oprávnený. Alexander Skriabin predložil svetu iný typ poémy. Je povestná skladateľova chorobná vízia apokalypsy, kde sa on sám situoval do pozície akéhosi novodobého Prométhea. V Poéme – extáze dosiahla táto tragikomická posadnutosť vrchol. Hudobne však ide o veľmi rafinovane koncipovaný útvar, nasýtený nevšednými sonoristickými efektmi.
