Peter Breiner will celebrate his 60th birthday at the Slovak Philharmonic in truly spectacular fashion: first, his latest orchestral work, Srowmaam, followed by a performance of Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue by the doyen of the Russian piano school, Pavel Gililov, conducted by the birthday boy himself. The concert will conclude with Mussorgsky's popular Pictures at an Exhibition in Breiner's monumental arrangement.
