Christmas concert
The Bratislava Boys' Choir regularly performs at the Slovak Philharmonic's Christmas concerts, and this year marks 30 years of collaboration.
The Christmas holidays represent a kind of fixed point in the cycle of life, to which each new year, full of new uncertainties, surprises, and challenges, will surely return. It is a time when we try to find more time for our loved ones, for rest, for things that bring us joy and peace. Not only silence and introspection, but also the beautiful things we love and know well can bring us the peace we long for. That is why traditional carols and favorite compositions by composers of various styles have their inseparable place during the Christmas holidays.
The soloist for the evenings will be soprano Adriana Banásová. In the series of Christmas concerts, permanent guest conductor Ondrej Olos will also demonstrate his flexibility as a conductor.
